This is the first of many Battletech events at Dice Saloon!
Some of our wonderful Battletech regulars will be hosting 3 different battle arenas run in parallel with multiple scenarios of varied complexity – Skirmish, Brawl and All Out Rumble.
Skirmish Battles are a 1v1 game, while Brawl and All Out Rumble are for 2-4 players.
Each demo will last approximately 90 minutes.
The Battletech classic rules will be used as standard, but advanced rules can be played on request.
No need to bring anything, models, maps, sheets, dice and rule books will be available.
Please make sure to grab a FREE ticket for any sessions you are interested in joining so that we know how many mechs to prepare for each.
BT/AS demo/teaching games all day at the show, also loads of other participation games and traders.

The South Wales Battletech Open Tournament is back!
An open format Battletech Tournament playing five games over two days! Featuring Mechs, Vehicles, and Battle Armour, bring whatever flavour of force you fancy.

A one-day AS tournament jointly run by Tales From The Periphery (me) and Peterborough Wargames Club (me). 4 x 300pt games between 9:30am and 6pm (90 mins or 6 turns), using the beta Matched Play force selection rules, Clan Invasion era, force lists to be submitted beforehand.
Event rules will be posted on Tales From The Periphery shortly, along with nearby hotel details. There will probably be a mass exodus to an excellent curry house in town afterwards.
